Oct 28-31 or Halloween Weekend!

Dear Diary,

Halloween has always been my favorite memory. I think my earliest childhood memoryis going trick-or-treating with my mother (let's just assume my brother and sister were there too). I know most memories pre-sixth grade are Halloween related. Halloween is one of the reason I choose SSU. That's how important the holiday is to me.

This Halloween weekend was fun, but it left me wanting more. First, I went on a Haunted Cruise. Since I love the ocean, so it was a double whammy of excitement and exceptions. The cruise was a little disappointing. It was less scary stuff and more like "scary" historical stories about the area's ports. The speaker told stories about famous pirates and haunted life houses.

The main problem was that the speaker was so boring. She had great, interesting stories to tell, but it felt like she was repeating memorized lines. She wasn't telling a story. Does that make sense?

Still, being on the water was amazing. Standing on the bow facing the wind was breath-taking. It was cold as fuck, but I loved it. I know it's impossible, but I wish I could afford a boat or at least rent one. (Operation marry rich)

Afterwards, I went back to G-Vagas for the local bar's costume party. It was fun hanging out with my friend CO, but no one wanted to dance or do anything. We were stuck in a corner and that's always boring. Still there were some great costumes and cute guys. Always a plus.

Saturday was suppose to be my cousin's Harry Potter party, but because of the freak snow storm (Thanks Global Warming!), it was canceled. I still went to visit her because it's been forever since we hang out. We watched this crazy anime "Elfin Lied" show that she likes. Well, until we lost power. But we had fun searching for candles and "praying" for power. It's not always what you do, but who you do it with.

But for Halloween day, I stayed in my apartment with my cats. In the biggest Halloween city in the state and I stay at home. It's because I never join in the fun, but I've already talked about that.

One of these days, I'll get better. That or die alone.

Love Always,
Joe
